About the Teacher

Anya Schildner is an independent computer teacher and training consultant from Germany. She has been teaching computer skills in Ireland since 1999. In 2007, Anya started her own company, FriendlyComputers.

Anya is specialising in one-to-one lessons with clients in their homes on their own computer. Alternatively, the lessons can be given at her premises in Cork.

Teaching computers on a one-to-one basis gives Anya the chance to integrate her two main interests which are teaching the technical skills and interacting with people.

Anya also does in-house corporate training in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.

For me, making my clients feel at ease and confident is equally important as teaching the technical content.

I enjoy meeting clients on a one-to-one basis and helping them to become more confident and independent …!

It fascinates me to find out the best way each person can learn new skills and I really do enjoy the challenge of adjusting my teaching approach accordingly.
